£10,000 over two years (£5,000 per year) to promote girls’ education and supporting Back to School opportunities for out-of-school girls to return and complete secondary education. (The organisation is advised to strengthen its safeguarding policy with regard to recognising and reporting mechanisms)

Africa School Assistance

£5,000 over one year to strengthen family and community support for girls at Mugan and Mwasonge Secondary Schools in rural Misungwi, Tanzania, so they can stay in school and complete secondary education.

Afro-Tanzania Volunteers for Change

£5,000 over one year for a project empowering disadvantaged young women in Singida to become financially independent in their small-scale businesses. (The organisation is advise to review and update its Safeguarding Policy which currently carries a 2022 date.)

Coastal Youth Vision Action (CYVA)

£5,000 over one year to continue work to reduce the likelihood of forced and early marriage of girls in Mkuranga District.

Community Development Watch (CODEWA)

£4,970 towards the costs of supporting girls and young mothers in their education and especially in STEM and IT subjects.

Desired World (DW)

£5,000 over one year for a project to empower unemployed women in Ngorongoro with vocational skills in weaving, soap-making and pottery.

Educate For Hope Africa (E4HA)

£6,000 over two years  (£3,000 each year) towards the Msichana Shupavu (Brave Girl) programme to reduce school absenteeism among girls by improved menstrual hygiene facilities, the development of safe spaces for life skills and mentorship, and increased community and school awareness.

Endeleza Wazee Kigoma (EWAKI)

£10,000 over two years (£5,000 per year) for work in rural Kasulu and Buhigwe to strengthen the livelihoods of rural widows and female-headed households through sustainable poultry farming and agribusiness training to ensure long-term food security and economic independence.

Faraja Young Women Development Organization

£10,000 over two years (£5,000 each year) towards training 10 teen mothers in Arusha to gain Montessori teaching qualifications and to provide nursery care for their children while they train. The organisation is required to  provide us with an updated and satisfactory Safeguarding Policy by the end of 2026 at the latest.

Foster Community Creative Solutions

£9,900 over two years (Yr1 – £7,500; Yr2 – £2,400) to develop a Learning Support hub to aid school retention for girls and young women  and boost  women’s earnings through enterprise training and village loan schemes.

Foundation for Revive Community Hope (FRECHO)

£8,000 over 2 years (£4,000 each year) to support girls with menstrual hygiene and community awareness campaigns to reduce school absenteeism, while training mothers in sanitary pad production and engaging boys as allies for lasting inclusion.

Friends of Rainbow Foundation

£10,000 over two years (£5,000 each year) to support STEM based learning for transgender and gender diverse women in Dar es Salaam and Mbeya to improve digital skills, reduce isolation and improve education and employment prospects.

Girls Awareness and Empowerment in Tanzania (GAET)

£10,000 over two years (£5,000 per year) to promote girls’ education and supporting Back to School opportunities for out-of-school girls in Kahama District  to return and complete secondary education.

Girls First Initiative

£10,000 over two years (£5,000 per year) to provide the Big Sister/Little Sister mentorship programme in four partner schools in Kilwa District.

Governance Links Tanzania

£9,500 over two years (Yr1 – £5,500; Yr2 – £4,000) to strengthen climate resilience of smallholder farming households in Chandulu and Nkungulu villages of Ng’haya ward Magu District in north western Tanzania. Release of the grant is subject to our receipt of a satisfactory final report on our previous funding.

HopeCare Tanzania

£10,000 over two years (£5,000 per year) to support caregivers of orphaned Albino children to develop greater economic independence and be better able to support the children they care for.

KASULU YOUTH DEVELOPMENT (KaYD)

£9,918 over two years (£4,959 per year) for work to strengthen the income and self-reliance of 150 disadvantaged rural female-headed households in Kasulu district.

Kidney Care and WASH Awareness Tanzania (KCWAT)

£10,000 over two years (£5,000 per year) to train rural young single mothers in Basanza Ward to produce and market palm oil soap, enabling them to establish sustainable micro-enterprises and improve household income and wellbeing.

Msichana Imara Foundation

£10,000 over two years (£5,000 each year) to establish a girls’ mentorship club at Loliondo Secondary School to improve menstrual health knowledge, reduce stigma, and train girls to produce reusable sanitary pads.

Mulika Afrika

£5,000 over one year for a project to support the health and sustainable income of female-led households in the Longido area.

Mwanza Youth and Children Network (MYCN)

£5,000 over one year to provide clean, safe, water facilities in two rural schools in Magu District.

OMOM Maasai Community Foundation (OMOM)

£8,000 over two years (£4,000 per year) for a mentorship project for primary school girls at Magadini Village.

Organization of People Empowerment (OPE)

£9,600 over 2 years (£4,800 each year)  to enhance economic sustainability and livelihoods among vulnerable widows in rural Tanzania through cow dairy farming.

Power of Youth Development (PYD)

£10,000 over two year (£5,000 per year) to train and support young mothers in Karagwe to help them develop farming and business skills to enable sustainable income.

Reaching the Unreached Tanzania (RUT)

£5,000 for a further one year’s support of the programme to help vulnerable girls from rural communities to return to or stay in school in the Chamwing District. Release of the grant is subject to receipt of a satisfactory final report on the current grant.

The Amani Initiatives

£10,000 over two years (£5,000 per year) to strengthen girls’ access to education and increase self-sufficiency among rural female-headed households in Monduli District.

Vijana Pambana Pata Maendeleo Rukwa-VIPAMARU

£8,000 over one year to build an 8-door toilet/changing facility for girls at Mhama Secondary School.

Voice of Young Girls and Women

£9,000 over two years (£4,500 per year) to provide a range of support including sexual and reproductive health, leadership and economic independence training to enable girls and young women in rural Pwani to avoid early marriage and remain in school.

We4You Organization

£10,000 over two years (£5,000 per year) to scale the women empowerment in agribusiness project in Lower Moshi. Release of the grant is subject to our receiving a satisfactory final report on the previous grant.

Women Action Towards Economic Development

£10,000 over two years (£5,000 per year) to work with two local community-based organisations in rural areas (Songea and Migoli) to train local women in income generating activities and enable girls to remain in school.

Women Beyond Barriers

£9,000 over two years (Yr1 £7,000; Yr2 £2,000 – to support the equipment costs in the first year) to provide digital skills and financial literacy to out-of-school girls in Igoma, Mwanza, to help them lead a productive and rewarding life.

Women Change Initiative

£5,922 over one year for on-site water provision at Muze Primary School.

Women Empowerment Initiatives (WEI Tanzania)

£10,000 over two years  (£5,000 each year) to increase retention of girls in schools in Bahi District through menstrual hygiene programmes, girls’ clubs and community engagement.

Women for Purpose Foundation

£7,000 over 1 year to train and support 50 single teenage immigrant mothers to establish a coffee business cooperative in the rural areas in Kyela and to be able to better support and school their children.
