SAFEGUARDING

Although we do not provide direct services we support organisations that do. We are committed to ensuring that all projects and organisations we support uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and comply with their local regulations and accepted best practice.

We require all grant recipients to have and to provide clear, up-to-date, safeguarding polices and procedures; that they ensure that all service users, staff and volunteers are protected from harm; that policies are reviewed (and updated if necessary) on a regular basis; and that all those working directly with service users, including organisation trustees/directors, receive appropriate safeguarding training.

Complaints or concerns regarding a grantee should go through their formal process in the first instance and, if necessary, reported to the relevant authority.
